What is included in the Ductless Split AC installation?
Making the marks:
In the ductless split AC, to start with an indoor unit installation, selection of wall, then the holes are marked on the wall as per the bracket.
Drilling holes:
Got your holes marked, and at the marks holes are made in the wall with a drilling machine. Thereafter, the bracket is fixed with the screws in these drilled holes
Passing cables and pipes through the wall:
After the bracket is fixed on the wall, another hole is drilled around 3 inches across the wall to pass copper pipes, drain hose and electrical cable to connect the indoor unit with the outdoor unit.
Installing the indoor unit of split:
Now the bracket is ready and your indoor unit is securely mounted on the wall bracket. Thereafter, the cables and pipes are passed through the drilled hole across the wall.
Installing an outdoor unit:
Remember, the outdoor unit of ductless split AC is quite heavy, so it should be handled carefully. The outdoor unit is brought outside to the location where it has to be installed. It could also be mounted on an external wall with the help of support or installed on the ground in open space so that there is no hindrance to the heat dissipated from the condenser. The wall on which the outdoor unit is being fitted should be strong enough to hold the unit’s weight and vibrations.
Cables and pipes connections:
Once the indoor and the outdoor units of the air conditioning are fitted, the copper pipes connecting the two units are installed. The electric cable is passed through the hole to connect the indoor unit to the outdoor unit. The drain hose also connected to one end of the indoor unit is passed through the same hole where cables and copper pipes are passing and left free in the open area for water drainage.
Final check:
After the indoor unit, outdoor unit, copper pipes, drain hose and all electrical connections are accurately installed, the air conditioner is switched on to check if it works properly.
